Our programmes

How do university preparation programmes work?

Our pathway programmes help you make the transition between study in your home country and a degree at a UK university. At one of our International Study Centres, you will be able to begin your academic journey in a supportive and welcoming environment under the support of expert teachers. After choosing a programme which best matches your degree and career ambitions, you’ll spend time developing your subject knowledge and English language skills in order to progress to your chosen degree programme at university.

International Foundation Programme (Intergrated CAS)

Our International Foundation Programme offers a seamless transition from your foundation year to an undergraduate degree on one integrated visa. You will:

  • Build essential skills for university study through interactive and supportive classroom teaching.
  • Study core modules, including English, and tailor your learning through subject-specific streams.

International Year One

The International Year One is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree, combining university-style learning with additional academic and language support. On successful completion, you will progress directly to year two of your chosen degree.

You will develop strong academic language skills, including critical thinking and academic writing, supported through a combination of lectures, tutorials, and small-group teaching.

Pre-Master's Programme

Our Pre-Master’s Programme (1, 2 or 3 terms) is the ideal first step towards postgraduate study in the UK. It is designed for students who already hold an undergraduate degree but need to adapt to UK academic expectations.

During the programme, you will strengthen skills in:
